Introduction:
The positive psychology can be referred to as the study explaining what makes life most worth living. In-depth we can state that the study states the human feelings, thoughts and behavior mainly emphasizing the strengths overcoming the weakness, rejuvenating, focussing on the positive aspects and then giving up the negativity and struggling to be normal.
When can this be a part of life for well-being?
Positive psychology enhances in developing the character strengths like to be optimistic, be happy, well-being, gratitude, compassion, self-confidence, esteem and finally to be a self-satisfied person. These aspects help in making people happier and longer life.
Human is the only social animal on this planet. He is the only source in building up the entire kingdom of his life. He has to be positive enough by all means like social ties with the spouse, family, friends broadening at work, clubs, organizations. He can achieve all these by maintaining steady health, physical fitness, mediations and wealth.
Where can this be applied?
In the present busy and transforming world, there is a need for positive psychology sessions at real-world applications like education, stress management at work, self-help, therapy sessions and finally well-being.
Using these aspects, the teachers, coaches, therapists, and employers can overcome the negativity and thus motivating for the improvisation of positive strengths, personal strengths, and understanding the individual.
Theory and concepts:
Positive psychology can be considered as a part of psychology, though it is sometimes considered as pseudoscience or soft science but is yet basing on the scientific base evaluating the evidence said by Christopher Peterson, University of Michigan. Christopher Peterson has done researches and stated many important aspects included and few are, Eudaimonia (well-being, deeper form of satisfaction than happiness) is vital than hedonism (sole focus on pleasure and positive emotions) for the betterment of the good life; good life cannot be taught, Crises reveals the character, Work also matters in terms of making life worth living, as long as we are engaged and draw meaning and purpose from it; etc.
PERMA Model:
This was proposed by Seligman, which is widely accepted and is also influential in Positive Psychology. PERMA is an acronym for the five facts of well-being according to Seligman.

This is a framework for the fundamental well-being of a human.
Even positive psychology has been grasped by much of the psychology community but there are few critiques of the movement and many of which have some valid points.
